just coming to a point where i can get my axle rebuilt. but need to think about where the breather's going before its too late, and since i
already forgot about it before i got it all welded up
i've seen some diff covers with a breather tube brazed in. anything i should be careful of with that? i'd be worried about the diff flinging
oil at it

also seen some screw in fittings which need something drilled and screwed in.

high up on the diff cover but not in line with the crown wheel, I'd make an internal cover over the end of the pipe to help prevent oil being thrown out
The original one on the Ford Atlas axle is on the tube. I assume they put it there for a reason.
^^^ likewise on land rovers.
ok, warming to the idea of drilling a tube (they're thick enough anyway) and putting one in there.
what about welding one of these in?
