Anyone got any dimensions for front to back pos'n of s/wheel? I meausred 710mm in my road car, anyone else considered this? I believe closer to driver's chest is better for control...look at Rally drivers!
comments welcome!

I was happy with mine when I first built it but after I drove it any distance I had problems due to a shoulder injury. I moved it 3" closer to me and it made it lots better.

build the tub, get the seatsa and fit them. Sit in the car, then mount the steering assembly.

If you do it any other way and get it wrong the car will feel uncomfortable to drive

Wheel...

have a problem then. As three of us are building our's. I'm 5'8", brothers 5'14" and Dad is 4'20"

Will just be a case of moving the seat and trying to get comfortable..... until the next one is being built! (Don't tell the missus)

An easy mistake to make. The Americans do it a lot.
