What size are the bolts in the bushes on coilovers? Are the standardised at M12, or 1/2 inch, or utterly dependent on manufacturer?
Also, Im looking at these:

Which I assume will be 1/2" being replacements for some long extinct rubber bush?
Cheers
All the ones i have come across are 1/2 inch.
Hi
There is no standard. All the damper manufacturers supply what you need. But the common sizes used are 7/16" unf - 1/2" unf - 12mm
metric.
Although for some reason many kit manufacturers still seem to think it's OK to supply 1/2" unf bushed dampers and supply 12mm bolts for
securing them. So be double check if ordering from a Kit manufacturer.

Got my shocks from Dampertech - Dave was very helpful and the service is quick and reliable.
The shocks came with 1/2" eyes, but he supplied me with sleeves to suit for 10mm bolts. Highly recommend the company.
My advice is to speak to him on the phone as I tried asking questions via email but it's much easier on the phone, he was very clear and helped
me understand what I needed and my options.

So if I drill all the brackets to 12mm and fit the captive nuts for the top shock brackets then Ill definitely be able to order dampers to suit?
