After months of having them in boxes, and not having my chassis yet,i gave them a try so i can see how they look...it leaves a gap as you can see,and i
had to spacer the carrier with a thin washer, othewise the disc will slightly touch the caliper......disc is 247mm

I would adjust (with a file/thinner washers) the thickness of the washers until the top of the pads are flush with the top of the disk. What you need
is maximum pad area on the disk, a gap between the hub and the calliper isn’t a problem. Also make sure they are the same each side.
I had the same kind of problem with my English rear axle Wilwood brake kit, Rally design quite rightly told me to adjust it myself with
shims/washers/file.
Its part of the fun of building a kit car!! ;-)
^ was going to say, as long as all the pad is on the disc then its fine
Is it just me BUT if i was buying some thing the price Wilwood parts are
i WOULD expect them to fit what there made for not having to file / shim new parks

Just throwing this in, but my MX5 calipers fit perfectly to the MX5 uprights. The ONLY part of the build that has gone as I expected.
Non standard discs, non, standard hubs, non standard calipers ----- sometimes tolerances can just stack up the wrong way.
As long you get sufficient clearance ---- Don't worry be happy ---
