What is the best way to get a good measurement for flexible brake lines?
I need to get mine ordered soon, so would like to measure them whilst im still home from uni
thanks

I just measured mine end to end, sent it and a pic of the old ones to Russbost and he sorted it.
If you dont have any, mocking them up with curtain wire works well, measure and specify ends.
for the fronts is it best to put it on full lock? then measure it tight, then add a bit?
Does it get fastened to the wishbone aswell?
You need to check lock to lock, any chafing will be an IVA and MOT fail.
When I did mine on the b, I used the curtain wire with tape wrapped round the ends so I could mock up the fixings. Its cheap and behaves about the
same as braded hose as it bends.
Don't forget to check at full lock AND full droop
Unlikely you will encounter this often, but when it does you will be glad you have brakes when you do land
As already said check on full droop & full bump & full lock to each side. Curtain wire, electrical cable or washer tubing are all good for following the proposed route of the hose - tape in place if necessary whilst deciding exactly how to route the hoses.
OK cheers guys, will try to get them measured up soon
