The pictures are missing for Davey D's solution but it was basically an aluminum strap that, lined with stick on foam, went around the reservoir
(where the tie wrap is on the first picture) and bolted to the bulkhead. (bad ascii art showing the shape follows)

it needs to be mounted as per this pic:
hope that is clearer.
Dad spent the day in the garage trying to mock something up (we have very limited fabrication skills) and is now in a foul mood..
I made one from ali right angle (with the welding by TrevD)
Reservoir mount from top
Reservoir mount from side
Reservoir fitted 1
Reservoir fitted 2

Hi, just looking at where you intend to mount the m/c. I would say you need to mount it a bit higher than you have done in the piccys, i'm
worried that you wouldn't get sufficient gravitational flow of Brake Fluid to m/c.
Cheers Eric.
Thanks for the link iank, i will provisionally strap it as per the first picture and see if that is sturdy enough.
vyperstrype: how would you recommend doing that without having the resevoir above the bonnet
Could you not just bend a piece of ally angle then cut out the shape of the tank so it sits on the seem then just stick it in place with a bit of PU
adhesive? something like this
