Dont know what it should be - but I do know it's a lot !
Thats mainly why I lengthened my wishbones and fitted deeper (ET 35 as opposed to ET10) wheels - the improvement was dramatic , to say the least .
Cheers for that, i'm having handling issues with my Stylus which is the RT version, 40mm wider than a normal Stylus, i'm slowly working through it and wanted to check the scrub radius, i'm running et42 wheels as opposed to et12-15, i will have to get in the garage at the weekend and check to see if it's pos or neg.

If you ask on the Sylva Chat google group I think someone should be able tell you the value. I believe some of the guys on there have measured up the
Fury suspension geometry to have a play about with settings in suspension software or to build a CAD model of their car.

Scrub radius while not something desirable isn't a major problem especially on a light car.

Agree with the above statement. There's plenty of racers using 1" spacers and 0 offset wheels with no big issues. The rest of the geometry
and bump steer issues are more important to get corrected first.

my cousin tells me my stylus is skittish on bumpy roads especially when breaking due to my scrub but cannot tell me why.
Can someone give a basic explanation and how it effects the cars handling.

We will have to swap cars sometime and have compare.
Main effect of scrub radius is the extra leverage effect causes too much kick back through the steering on rough surfaces, and the effect of an
unbalanced wheel is magnified.
It also loads up the steering when cornering hard but improves improves self centering.
The original Ford Escort rally cars had lots of scrub radius but still got the job done on both forrest and tarmac stages.

Tony, mine not skittish it just has no feel through the front end, i really need to re-make my lower arms as i have neg castor on one side and pos on the other.
