I have fluid weeping from all over my braking system. Mainly seems to be coming from the top of the fittings through the hole where the brake pipe
passes into the threading fitting rather than from the threads.
Its making a real mess and i have no chance of bleeding the brakes.
solutions?
Anyone want to buy a part built dax rush?
wrong ends put on the two main brake lines from the looks of things.
piece of shit.
I'll give you £20 for her, and I'll even wipe the garage floor when I take it away!
Sounds like you need to redo your flared ends. It took me a few attempts to work it out. Plus don't overtighten, as that just makes them leak
even quicker!
paypal me the money and you can pick it up next week.
First rule of building your own car - "One step forward, Two steps back".
Take the rest of the afters off - watch the rugby, footie, womens ice dance - whatever.
HTH.
Cheers, Pewe
I might have to insist on cash on collection, don't wanna waste my money after all!
Stick with it mate - it is so worth it the first time you nail the throttle on your first drive. The grin starts to hurt after a while!
yea, stick at it, the grin never leaves. Its so worth it.
CHECK YOUR FITTINGS METRIC THREADS ONTO IMP BUT WILL NOT SEAL MIGHT BE THE OTHER WAY ROUND BUT NEED TO GO IN WORKSHOP TO FIND OUT CHEERS
Take the wekend off, and do something different.
Take a deep breath, remove the brake system clean up any evidence of it happening and start again. Youll feel much more confident in it if you do
start again, rather than repair the existing.
