Feel a numpty asking this, but I've never had to take one apart before now.

Does the Sierra diss have a gasket under the rear cover or is it sealed with instant gasket type stuff?

Also, are the bolts Torx T45 or T50? (need to go get a socket today)

T50 I don't think there is a gasket. Sealant on mine

You'll find out when you get the back off.. I don't think they have one but rely on the flat machined casting.. If unsure a bit of instant gasket will do..

no!! no gasket just metal to metal

I just used Hylomar jointing compound. Worked a treat.

Make sure you clean out the torx head hole properly so the bit doesn't slip out / round off etc etc.
