Anyone have any experience of changeing one of these? Is it a difficult job? Anyone have any instructions? Had a quick search and can't find a lot of info. Also where do I get the replacement part?

Out of interest how do you know you need to change the bearing? Mine has a little play in the input shaft but I'm hoping it's normal/OK.

Mine has play... just assumed it needed doing as you can tell from my post abouve I'm far from an expert on the subject.

It's normal for there to be a small amount of play with the box out, as the end of the input shaft is not located in the spigot bearing as it normally would be.

If it spins freely and smoothly it's probably fine....
