Cortina Calipers
Seven_Monkey - 15/3/10 at 01:38 PM

Hi all, I'm going to be sorting my Cortina calipers out shortly and wanted peoples opinions/suggestions as to whether to do them myself or send them in for exchange or remanufacture...?

Any company suggestions will be ideal. I have looked through Bigred, any dealings?

Thanks
Rich

We reconned ours with a seal kit, some caliper paint and a wire brush atatchment for the angle grinder (search for "the tool".

I wouldn't do it again, I've seen how nice BigRed calipers look and IMHO they're worth every penny

I got mine from Bigg Red, fantastic stuff, very good and quick service.

I refurbished mine, but the seals went 2 days before IVA.
Couldn't get a kit in time.
Rally design got me a pair next day delivery, no exchange

seems expensive when rallydesign will do a pair of recon for 86squids.....plus vet etc??

Sorry, that might not have been clear - that would mean you can pick up a pair for 69.00 (basic option). Not sure about VAT & Del.
