maybe a long shot, but does anyone have a photo of how a capri axle handbrake cable/rods should look ??

the one on my car has been modified (bodged), and i don;t think the IVA man will be happy with it

cheers

What year Capri? I have two workshop manuals for a 1972 Cologne V6, could scan a page.

Might to have been bodged early Capri axles had a completely different arrangement similar to the MK2 Cortina , no outer cable or rod, a cable ran from wheel to wheel through a couple of guides then forward to a yoke from where a single cable went to the handbrake lever.

thanks fellas, looks like the boss on the diff cover has been removed as the panhard rod would have hit it,

think i might be able to use allegro cables
