Today i managed to remove my locking nuts from one wheel after loosing my adapter. Purchased an opposite thread remover, but had to grind about 4mm off the diameter the full length of the nut just to get in the hole. But it worked.
Anyone have any tips for undoing the end nut on the half shafts.

Best solution is an impact wrench.

If you don't have one/can't get the use of one for 10mins then a hammer and cold chisel can be used to shock the nut off by hitting the corners at an appropriate angle.

If you do that you should replace the nuts and have plasters available

Not sure if your car is on the ground, but I used a 'stick it in gear' along with a 'whack up the handbrake' along with a 3/4" drive socket and a 4 foot scaffold pole...

Both sides came off a treat!

make sure youre turning them the right way...
