Drive Shaft Nut - Torque?
Tiger Super Six - 6/4/10 at 08:45 AM

Following my thread yesterday ( http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=133405&page=2 ), the next question is when I tighten the nut back up, do I need to torque it back up and if so, what to?

Yes it needs tightening up. I think (off the top of my head) it goes up to around 250 Nm!

Yes correct about 250Nm

That's about a medium lean on a 4ft scaffold pole

I've got a big torque wrench that's about 3ft long, hopefully that is going to do the trick as I don't have a scaffold pole!!
