Escort Handbrake Actuating Levers
Seven_Monkey - 12/4/10 at 10:17 AM

I'm looking for a set of handbrake levers for the Escort Axle (Ctype), I've tried a few places but had no luck...

I'm also on the lookout for the hub centre covers for Cortina hubs if anyone has any contacts?

Any help would be greatly appreciated - I'm trying my best for a running chassis as soon as possible.

Thanks
Rich

Have you tried Burton Power - they have most things Ford although they're not always the cheapest.

They'll certainly have the hub dust caps available.

So followed a long line of enquiries and eventually led me to a guy called Darren Moss @ Escort Tec (07733 280190) these guys break Escorts all the time and have a vast knowledge of parts.

He has some rear plates inc fittings that he'll post out for a reasonable amount.

He's even managed to source some dust covers for the back plates - which I have been looking for for years!

Thanks Nick - also picked up the hub covers from Burtons - took a while to find but I believe part no: RD329 is the part - hopefully it will be the correct one.

Thanks
Rich

Good find Rich! Just ordered myself a couple of the hen's teeth for the handbrake lever

Well done that man

Let me know if they are correct and how much and i will give him a call to.

There is no way i am having damp getting in my new brakes.

Thanks in advance.
