Hello,
I have a Luego Velocity which I had in pieces during the winter and is now back on the road. It is not as good to drive as it was. Now I
haven't had the car set up professionally but neither did I the first time I built it. What I would like to know before I head off and get the
tracking checked is what are the most likely causes. It is essentially over sensitive, so as I drive along I find that if I make an adjustment to the
steering I end up travelling too far so have to go through a little bit of see-sawing to get back on track.
Cheers
Steve
Possibly a castor angle problem? have you had the wishbones off and fitted them on the wrong sides?
Toe out? That'd make it a bit sketchy!
could be a simple tracking issue get that checked to start with but also check for something that looks unusual
what did you actually do to it when you had it in pieces?
tyre pressure too high?
you've obviously checked theres nowt loose i take it?!
Toe out will make it turn in VERY quickly and be nervous as hell if you have any bump steer whatsoever.
I'd check that first
Thanks again guys, get the tracking looked at first.
drunk?
What have you had 'in pieces', narrow it down a bit
Check the rear suspension too. Looseness or bad misalignment here can make the steering feel really strange.
