Has is ever been tried on a seven, or even a front engined car? Many people have converted to inboard shocks, and the trend at the moment is for soft springing, stiff anti-roll and zero droop, which is exactly what the monoshock setup allows.

Not gonna be too nice for a road car, but could work well on a track car!

It's that sort of idea, I was meaning this, as found on many FBMW, F3 cars and hillclimb single seaters:



It has a series of bellville washers either side the 'rocker' which control roll (undamped, as in your photo), and pitch is controlled by the spring. The setup you've show does exactly the same thing, however roll is controlled by a massive undamped ARB.

Triton did a car with a monoshock iirc.

I'm considering going monoshock on the front of a trike!
