MK Indy rear uprights drum to disk

Hi Anyone know where I can get two rear uprights for my MK Indy it has drums at the rear and I want to convert to disk brakes. The new boltin shafts will not fit through the drum uprights. Is there a way round this? How much do disk uprights cost? I have just found this out and MK are closed and just in case anyone has some for sale. Ta

I think that you need too machine the ABS sensor toothed ring off the shafts then they will fit through. You need to do this even if you have the right uprights.

The drum uprights can be modded to accept the disc brakes - you need to 'unweld' the hub mounting plate, turn it and re weld it back on the upright.

HTH

There is an adaptor plate you can get for the MK rears. For the life of me I can't remember where from. Probably rally design. As mentioned, it just moves the mounting plate holes.

i did my own, took the drum uprights off, ground the welds off that hold the spacer on then repostioned it to the correct angle (one hole round) so the callipers were at 10/2 oclock depending on side when fitted and welded them back on.Just had to run a file round the hole to let the shafts fit through.simples cost £0
