i am having a bit of trouble with my rear tyres and was wondering if a 205/60/13 tyre will fit on an 8" wide wheel?
the tyre calculator i use said no but george polley motorsport tyre guide said it will fit anything from 6" to 8 1/2" the tyre in question is a a048 yoko

Yes it will, i run 205 R888's on 8.5" rims.

on the front of mine i run a 185/60/13 a048 on a 7" rim. not ideal but it doesn't cause any problems.

7" rim is 1/2" over the max recommended for a 185 on george polley site.
