Finally on the road legally on the road after many hours on the phone with the dvla.

Now i am fixing up all the little things that i was not happy with.

Top of the list:
Suspension- it creaks... predominantly in the rear but a little in the front as well. cant locate the source of the creak and it makes the car feel, undeservedly, like a pile of junk, any ideas or similar experiences??

I'ts usually to do with length of crush tubes/suspension bushes, there was a lot of discussion about it on here a few weeks ago if you do a search I'm sure you'll find some answers to your problem.

If rubber bonded bushes then with the car loaded release the tension on the suspension bolts, bounce the car a few times to settle everything in place then tighten, do not jack up!

If poly bushes jus spray some wd40, it will not attack anything.

I have the same issue with my Roadster and I am just replacing my crush tubes and bushes now.

The main difference has been when I replaced the bushes and crush tubes on the bottom of the rear uprights.

Just try to slacken the long bolt and M12 off a few turns, tap the bolt loose with a hammer so there is a bit of play and see if it reduces or eliminates the noise. Please do not drive with the car like this?

I have bought a new set from 3GE and found the thickness of the ends of the bushes slightly thinner then the ones I had previously, basically my previous bushes were rubbing on the ends against the suspension brackets etc.

With these new ones I have used Silicone grease over the crush tubes and on the ends.
