Apart from the usual escort or sierra racks, what other donor cars are sometimes used? The reason i ask is mine looks different to all the escort ones ive seen (doesnt have the oval plate with 2 screws) and as far as i can tell sierra racks seem to have the mounting lugs cast into the casing, is that correct? I want to buy some alloy rack clamps, car is a tiger avon, but its an early one made by phoenix. Thanks
Get some pics?
Arent Nova ones used in some?
I've got a spitfire/gt6 quick rack in mine.
I have a Peugeot 309 rack in mine. Cost me £10 new
Formula Renault in mine!
left hand drive nova ones are used.
this is about the best pic i can take at the mo, the rest obviously just looks like any rack
rack
Going by ebay pics, i wouldnt say it was a nova rack, but poss a spitfire one? It has a big hexagonal hole in the top of it, maybe about 15-20mm
allen key?

Looks like mk1/2 escort
the escort ones sold by rally design are only a copy of the escort rack and dont have the oval plate.
.m.
Oh right, i see. it has the same dimensions as far as i can tell and the escort/sierra u/j fits, so that could be the case. Thanks
