Ford IB5 clutch master cylinder

Anyone running a Ford IB5 transaxle in their midi? What size clutch master cylinder are you using? This is obviously important to get the clutch throw right and I don't know what the Ford size is - the Ford m/c is part of an integrated hydraulic system I believe and not directly usable. Advice appreciated.

can you not use the standard ford item?

My old fiesta zetec s turbo ran an IB5 and had a standard concentric slave that you could use on a kit car no problem, but IIRC it did have a quick release fitting, so long as you could sort this out it would be no issue IMO.

I am using a fiesta 1.25 engine and transmission and gearbox - think it is an ib5. I am using the standard ford item. I think the bore is printed on the side - I'll check tomorrow if I get time!

Yep - used a plastic Ford setup from a 1.25 MK4 Fiesta with mine. Works perfectly.
