I have got my self a set of rally design uprights and in order to optimise them for maximium handling & performance I am converting them to rose
joints.
I have recently sourced a part which allows the rod end to be fitted however doesnt allow adjustment of the gain and they are apperently prone to
breaking. (gain is where you space the top or bottom rod end away from the hub so as the suspension raises it adds more/less camber progressivly
I was just curious if anybody is intrested in doing this as I am currently drawing up a replacement insert to allow the instalation of rod ends, It
will be a pretty simple part and it'll mean no modification of your shiney alloy upright will be required
The reason I ask is from experience it would cost a rediculous amount to have one set of 4 made however the price drops drematically if having say 10
sets of 4 done all at the same time
Best Regards
Ross

I am thinking about changing my olde worlde Cortina uprights to these in the near future. I have a questions regarding these.
Are they identical dimension wise or have they been tweaked in some way?
From your description you might be describing bump steer elimination? How do rose joints improve the handling?
