Afternnon,
I need to make some spacer tubes for the rear diff mounts. There is about 20mm either side of diff between brackets. Any idea's as to what to use
to make spacers out of. I found in local diy store some steel tube which is 10mm id but the wall thickness is only 1mm and seems abit thin for this.
Reccomendations please, and thanks.
Andy
Get flakmonkey to turn you some up to fit (best option)? Or drill out a couple of plain nuts, and use washers+nuts?

When pushed, I have made spacers by bolting up the required number of washers, grinding a groove along the packed washers on two sides and running a
weld bead down
Have you ever tried to fit a stack of loose washers onto a bolt between two parts?
