Front Mudflaps
vyperstrype - 25/8/10 at 08:03 PM

Has anybody put front mudflaps on their seven?
I have seen people do this, and wondered what material they used. I have looked on E-Bay at Rally style Mudflaps but they seem very expensive. What Thickness did you use, and what material. Do B+Q sell anything that would do.
Thanks in advance, Eric.

i put some on mine they are halfords mudflaps that are sold in the barry performance area with the window tints and grill mesh cost about £15 and just cut them to fit dont make em to long as they will flap and might help your wing stay to snap off

I'd be interested in some black if there's enough spare. Drop me a U2U please if there's enough to go around.
Many thanks

B&Q carpet tile inc free spray supression. the reason i fitted them was because the btm of the wheel was in line of sight, didn't fancy a stone in the face.

Well worth doing imho

Made mine from 4mm black rubber sheet and they seem to to stop alot of stones from being thrown up and damaging the GRP

I used Halfords brand rally mudflaps - just needed one to make 2 for the seven. They make a lot of difference to the amount of spray/grit thrown up

+1, keeps the water down a bit and the stones out of your face.
