they're a tight clearance fit but they do tend to corrode on pretty heavily on early cars. i've heard of people changing uprights because
the hub flange was stuck so solid, though that doesn't necessarily mean they persevered at all

I managed to remove the drive shafts from the uprights, you're right they are bloody tight!!!!!
What I want to do is remove the outer CV joint from the actual drive shaft
