Cleaning up cortina uprights

What's the best way to clean up front uprights, hubs and calipers. The ones I have are servicable, but are in need of a good clean!!!!

Some people go for the home brew ultrasonic cleaning details on here somewhere.

I just used a good brush on the end of my drill and some elbow greese too!

Stick 'em in a big old vat of mollases and water 1:10.

I got mine shot blast There still perfect six years on.

I've soaked parts in malt vinegar before which worked very well (chuck them in on a Sunday night, agitate a few times through the week and by the next weekend they'll be ready for a quick wash off and the job's a good 'un).

I've heard that molases will do the same job, and probably won't make you gag and choke on your own vomit so much as opening the lid on a week old gallon of malt vinegar will...
