toyo t1r (preferred) or yokohama prada

The pirellis are softer compound than tyres like the T1R and T1S so should be more grippy than the toyos.

The R888s are actually very good in the wet.

If you dont want to go for R888s then maybe the R1R would be a better choice, same compound as the R888 but more tread so better in the wet

hi, what size r u after, i was in the same positon as u earlier in the year, whent for toyo 350 in 185/70/13", realy good so far, even in standing water, still leaning about the car, grip, suspension etc, can give it a good boot full, comming out of corners, roundabouts etc, does not move. not a performance tyre, designed for small cars, £145 4 the set.

yoko pradas have excellent grip and feel and not to expensive, i'd go for 195s

I've been using Falken 452 for 3 years now and I'm on my second set. Excellent grip wet or dry and good wear too.

I had the Toyo T1R's on my kit and they were rubbish, loads of wheel spin and no grip :-(

Thought about Toyo R1R's but they are expensive

What about vredestein Ultrac Sessanta? I have just put these on my STI after reading good reviews on them.
My neighbor has them on his RS4 so they can't be that bad.

Going to have to second the hatred of P6000s i'm afraid. Truely awful tyres. Throw um in the bin!

I use Falken 452 on my 530 sport, great tyres and VERY underated
