Looking good Martin!

That would be great for any low car, it would have saved me a fortune in front bumpers, when i was still at my parents!!

ashg - 29/9/10 at 10:23 AM

looks a little bit chunky, good idea though.

out of interest how much weight does it add

fha772 - 29/9/10 at 10:42 AM

How much would a set up like that cost?

nitram38 - 29/9/10 at 11:47 AM

Guys firstly I can't sell them on here until I've got Chris's permission (I've asked and still waiting!).
The rams can't be any smaller because of the shock through the centre and they are aluminium. They are about the same weight as the bit of spring they replace so hardly any weight change overall.

They could be a good way of getting my Haynes as low as possible, but be able to use it on the road sometimes...

Martin, you have developed nothing. You have merely copied someone else's work! No real talent in that.
If I had only looked into your past projects I would have noticed that you have a reputation of doing this.
I regret trying to help you out by selling you the rams.

Sorry I have not copied your rams. Maybe the idea. These have a different oil seal to the ones you are using. The pumps are custom made with variable pressure valves to suit cars of different weights and are at least a 1/3 cheaper than yours.

Tuck in...

Are the threads on the shock body used Martin (does the ram spin the platform or does it just push it vertically)?
