while dismanteling a 2.0L Sierra I saw a differential with this label I attach.
is this a 3.14 one?

3.14 is normally in the 2.3 diesel,V6 engine or the 1.6 eco with 4 speed box.

Should be a sticky at the top of engine and transmission section giving you all the codes and numbers.

I had already a 2.3 Diesel and it has a 3.14 diff, but didn't expect this kind of label in a 2Liter.
I had already four diffs of Sierras and one of Scorpio and usually the ratio is inscripted in the label.
someone confirm this?

btw: I don't have the engine/Gbox to see those codes.

thanks

If that is the diff tag then yes you have a very rare 3.14

Why don't you just count the input / output turns?

Wot he said. I bought a diff that was clearly labelled 3.38 but was in fact a 3.62 when I checked it!
