Thinking of doing a rear brake conversion over the Winter.

Seen Rear Brake Conversion Kit - Escort,Orion,Sierra,Kitcar on eBay (end time 21-Oct-10 08:47:51 BST) on ebay and wanted to know if this is all I need, is it worth the money and is it worth doing a conversion at all.

Cheers Steve

er

how about handbrake cable and new flexi hoses plus mods to the copper brake lines and rebuilding / reconditioning the calipers

Edit: as to is it worth it I would say no as the next thing you will need is a brake bias valve to restrict the braking effort at the rear.

Be very careful 'upgrading' to Willwoods as moving from good M16's with 1144 pads to say Willwood Powerlights of a size which will fit under 13 inch wheels, will in my experience, render a slightly worse performing brake.
