Don't think you'll find any easily. Why do you need to extend it? Most people extend the link between the column and rack (cut and slieve). If it's just a bit short it could have just got pushed in (it's designed to do that).

ye but i wanted to extend the bottom bit as it gives me a better angle to the rack. due to my mad install of the bike engine :O)

You know you can pull the triangle tube out a bit? Might give you a bit more length.

Most people extend the next section down when doing theirs.

but how far should it be pushed in? I just pulled mine out a fraction and accidentally pulled it out completely. So how far should it be pushed back it?

(or to put it simply, how much of the triangular bit should be sticking out?)

What I did was go to a local scappy, retrieved another piece from a steering column and butt welded it to my original. But first I got a piece of rod just oversized to fit inside the tube and filed it down to make a tight fit on all 3 sides for about 2.5" either side of the weld. Hardest part was finding a doner.
