Does anyone happen to know what the thread size is on the end of the taper part of the transit drag link please (not the M18 bit, the other threaded part)? I could go and have a look but there is a race about to start.

They can be metric or imperial

Suspect thethreadsize may vary according to who manufactred it. Your best bet if you just need a nut is to invest in a set of thread gauges and a Zues booklet, will last a lifetime and cost's peanuts

Just had to buy a new nut for my Dax for similar ball joint.



Measures, approx 1.25mm pitch (1.27mm = 20TPI)
and diameter was approx 12.5mm (1/2"
So I guessed it was 1/2" UNF.

Bought 10 from ebay and job done

I've got 4, two are M12x1.5 and two are 1/2" UNF. Strange!
