wilwoods (again!)
chriscook - 16/6/04 at 11:10 PM

I've searched through previous posts and the question has been asked before but I couldn't find the answer!

I want to use dynalites on my sierra front uprights has anyone done this? I'd prefer to use solid discs and be able to use 13" wheels if possible. Has anyone done this and worked out a combination that works?

I've been given a price of £330+vat for a hi-spec kit inc calipers and discs but they don't seem to be renowned for their customer service and also the dynalites should work out cheaper.

Thanks,
Chris

If you have discs on the rear you will not be able to use 13s.

For now I will keep the sierra rear calipers but may change them in the future. I would therefore like to build it to be able to take 13s on the front.

Surely someone somewhere is using sierra uprights and willwod dynalite calipers? (On an Indy?)

cheers.

On the rear I am thinking of doing it the westfield way, with higher offset and smaller discs (off a fwd escort) and mounting the calipers further back and further in.

For others info I couldn't find a way to fit the wilwoods on decent size discs so have gone for the hi-spec option (via the KitCarWorkshop). I couldn't find a suitable solid disc and the vented sierra discs look like the clearance to the wheel will be a bit too tight. The price of custom discs put it at more than the hi-spec kit so thats what i went for - despite their famous delivery times. (Actually Martin at KCW thought they may have some on the shelf)
