Brake Disc size help!

Help!

I have cortina Mk 4/5 Steel Uprights, and the ally hubs from rally design. I have just ordered some MK4/5 cortina calipers (on line - another brake company) and I am in the process of trying to sort the discs. I was in the process of ordering some that are again suitable for a Mk4/5 cortina, and the company has just said to me the PCD is 4x92.1mm......I thought the ally hubs from RD were PCD 108's?? Am I missing something? I am now thinking that the cortina calipers that I have ordered may not be right? Do I in fact need a different caliper and disc combo to go with these ally hubs?

Confused!

Thanks in advance

Matt

Cortina discs don't fit over the wheel flange pcd they mounted a flange on the inside of the hub which has a smaller pcd.

Bugger!
Are the cortina calipers ok though with the RD ally hubs?
Any ideas on what disc I need to be searching for?
Many thanks
Matt

Don't panic!
The discs are bolted to the rear of the hub and the PCD of those holes are 4x92. The wheel studs are in different holes and thier PCD is 108.

These are an example of the standard discs Apec Front Brake Discs Ford Cortina 1976 - 1982 on eBay (end time 01-Jan-11 16:14:32 GMT)
Click 4 Car Parts
but you can also buy vented and/or drilled and/or grooved discs which will fit. Most discs from Cortina/Capri/Escort I & II/Granada II seem to fit

If you go for vented discs you will need to obtain a spacer kit for your calipers (I think Rally Design do them) or you could fit Austin Princess 4 pot calipers (with or without spacers)
