What if any are the difference between the Ron wishbones and the haynes type?

Ron is narrow track, haynes is wide track... so there is a difference in the wishbones..... Rons are shorter

Ron = Escort Width
Hay = Sierra Width

You could, but you'd have to widen the rear to match....

and reallign the mountings, cos they are bound not to be exact

no, is the simple answer different widths, different lengths, different angles required, different mounting points....... no really, simple or not lol
