Would these make a good replacement for Y419's?

I came across SUSPENSION ROSE JOINT BUSH SAAB 95 9-5 95 1997-2008 NEW on eBay (end time 16-Jan-11 07:49:58 GMT) on ebay and they look like a possible replacement for the herald bushes specified by the book. I know the wishbone bore sizes would have to be altered, but nylon would be so much more resilient than rubber.

why not use the ones supplied by MK Mac 1 etc stainless inserts and nylon / polyurethane

No, they are crap! Speak to any vectra or saab owner with sagy rear suspension. Sadly a design which should have been very good, let down by poor design of the bushes.

But would they be better in a car weighing 1/2 as much & only used for a couple of thousand miles a year?
What is the problem with Vectra / saab suspension?
How long / How many miles does it take to 'sag'?

it would last longer, but personally Id prefer to use either rosejoints than polybushes than the very large and poor quality GM componentry.

Anywhere between 30 and 80k normally

It would be wholly dependant on whether they are soft(flexible) nylon, or of the very hard variety.

Polyurethane flexible would still be my choice for a road car. preferably from SuperPro.
