I have been planning my locost around a Ford Mustang suspension. My Idea was to use the design one of the popular Cobra replicas here in the US the
Factory-Five. But now I have some of the suspension parts and I cannot see how this could work. The caster seems like it would be backwards from what
is desirable.

It looks like you are going to have make up some adaptors to link to an upper wishbone, AlanB made up something similar
Your top balljoint is not going to be above your bottom one in a direct line. You need more like a cortina if it's possible. If you could cut it down and bolt something on it might work.Image deleted by owner
I have used 1988 tbird spindles (same as the mustang) . They are front steer and yes it does look like the caster would be wrong as when you put them
tilted back to get the correct caster the steering arm is tilted up at several degrees. I used a home made version of the factory five adaptors and
tapped them to take a 5/8 bolt to which I have a rod end on for an upper ball joint.
