how much should a ct133 cost?
pekwah1 - 17/2/11 at 09:47 PM

as above, i bought a standard sierra release bearing which was around £12.
They now want around £35 for the ct133 (capri release bearing) which i thought was a bit much....

But do you get a free clutch with it?

austin man - 17/2/11 at 09:51 PM

I paid just short of £40

pekwah1 - 17/2/11 at 09:52 PM

you'd bloody think so for that price!
should it be around a tenner like the other one?

Picked one up for Luegojnr a couple of weeks ago (he's doing a Zetec swop) from Wilco in Norwich, cost £16 (and some pence, can't remember the pence)

carlknight1982 - 17/2/11 at 10:24 PM

whats the difference with a ct133 and a standard sierra bearing?

eddie99 - 17/2/11 at 10:25 PM

As above, i paid just under £20 for mine

Tatey - 17/2/11 at 10:35 PM

I paid £25 for mine from my local motor factors, they had to order it in but it arrived within 3 hours so I wasnt complaining.

A ct133 is thicker than a sierra bearing.

I haven't actually bought one but I'd probably pay less than 20 quid too....

I have used the standard sierra one with no problems for the last 4 years, actually it was the one fitted to the box when I picked it up in the scrapyard.
