Planning out the desired parts I'm going to need and hit a stumbling block with the rear end. My engine is going to be a 2.0L duratec (similar
to Flak Monkey's) running around 220-230 bhp.
Doing some reading on the MX5 differential (which was my original donor parts) I came across alot of posts saying that the stock diff wouldn't
handle that much power for long. Was thinking of using the differential and rear end components from the 350z instead. Stock power for that car is
287 - 305 so my engine wouldn't risk blowing it up and its an independent rear suspension as well.
Anyone tried to use these parts before or am I breaking new ground?

what do the guys that use 22b engines in MX-5's use?
a 22b is easily tuned to 400bhp+
maybe they use the rx-7 diffs?
E36 diff and driveshafts will be good for over 300 bhp. The diff's a bit on the heavy side though.

400bhp dead simple if you throw money at it and give it to a specialist!!
