would these be any good for a build they can still be bought now and can be had for disks or drums and in most stud patterns

From the look of the uprights, and moreso the balljoints, those are usa sourced Mustang 2 uprights.
Available in many flavours from many people. Buy a US hotrod magazine, and you'll find heaps of advertisers selling them.

I know what there from just wondered what people thought of them as an upright can you see any problems with them
Doesn't it depend on the geometry as to whether they are suitable in a 7 type car?
Also, why are you being a bit cagey with what they are? Have you just bought a container load you want to sell on? 
any upright can be use but will require the geometry caculating and suitable wishbones developing or pick up locations on the chasis to be altered. also the hub will require consideration ie can you get the same stud pattern for the rears you dont want 4 stud rears and 5 stud fronts or a or different PCD

Interesting use of ball joints as the inner pivot for the wishbones on this setup. Makes it adjustable and although heavier than rod ends it could be
cheaper and more durable.
