Forgive my ignorance.... which rear discs?
Doctor Derek Doctors - 19/3/11 at 12:54 PM

I have the following set-up on the back of my race car:

The discs that came with the calipers don't seem to have enough negative offset to sit in the centre of the caliper.

Either I have the wrong discs or second thought is that once the drive shaft is bolted in that it will pull the drive flange further into the bearing?

This is the first time I have ever dealt with Ford parts so a little ignorant here as to what options were availiable on the back of Sierra's.

FYI they are bolt on rear driveshafts.

I do get the feeling that I am just being a mong so be gentle with me.

When you tighten the hub nut up to 250Nm the shiny bit showing at the moment will pull in thereby moving the drive flange towards the centre of the car, moving the disc in too

Yeah I suspected as much, I just needed to stop being a remedial and confirm that.
