what is the best way to connect a handbrake lever to the cable compensator on the handbrake system? the compensator has a hole for a bolt in it. and the handbrake will probably need some type of clevis. has anyone used a threaded adjustable system? if so what is the best way for this? cheers
A few mainstream manufacturers do it, mostly on vans these days. Transits have one with a threaded adjuster in the rod, one end left-hand threaded and the other right. Turnthe adjuster to lengthen or shorten the rod; Simple and effective. Can't see why it can't be done on a kit.
thanks for your help once again, i thought it could be a good idea as the cable adjusters on the cables have very little adjustment.
