Lo Dave

Please excuse my question if I'm wrong... Many months ago Chris had a photo of a sierra column that he thought was collapsed... turns out it wasn't... is this the same as you are on about?

Cheers

If a sierra column mount colapses, the accident would so severe, the sierra would probably be only 6' long, remember the is 2' of ford before you get to the column.

The adjustable columns 'look' compressed from new. A buggered one usually deforms asymetrically and is REALLY obvious
