Hey does anyone know where the Triumph Herald bushes as described in Ron's book can be bought mail order? a part number or where they are used on the car would be a big help! thanks

I wouldnt bother Batesy,go to lolocost,or gts and get one of thier polybush bush eye and bush tube kits, it'll save you a poo load of hassle in the long run.
Then use 2 inch square section to make your brackets from.
