Hi All

I have bought a wide body locost 7. I have tried putting a pic for my profile but failed. (the pic is still on somewhere)

Firstly id like to know what torque setting to put my nuts on the wheels with as ive got some track and road wheels,

Also is there a manual for locost 7's or have they all been put together differantly. i dont normaly mess with cars but want to start with this one if anything needs changing but a manual would be good.

Last questions are the body parts for a wider 7 the same as normal ones or not? ie nose cones, and wings as i want to replace them

Many Thanks Lee

Hi Lee, there are no manuals for the locost, only the "Book" Build a sportscar for £250, and I am sure if you ask somebody on here will have one for sale. As to the wheel nuts, I do mine to 60 Lbs Ft, and haven't had one fall off yet, :-).
Not too sure regarding the bodywork, things like front and rear arches will be pretty much standard, but can't say on the remainder. HTH Ray

I generally torque wheels 70-80 ftlbs.

As each car is unique it'd be a rather thick manual to cover them all
I guess most have a selection of manuals depending on the donor parts used.

Ford hubs are normally 90NM or 65Lb Ft
