How Could I Adapt This Shock to Work?
scootz - 29/7/11 at 04:47 PM

I was probably just going to be selling on the BMW HP2 front shock that came with the rear I wanted, but it's a nice bit of kit and I'd be keen to use as much as I can from the bike.

So I got to wondering if I could use it (and another) on the front of the trike!? Thing is, the upper mount is designed for one of BMW's paralever doo-dahs, so would need some sort of 'collar' machined that would clear the adjuster and connect rigidly to a clevis-style assembly. Anyone got any design ideas?

Cheers!

What about using it in a leading link setup
