im in a bit of a pickle
hi im building a haynes roadster and im stuck at a point where i need a peddalbox an im having a bit of trouble sorting out/sorcing the bits i need
for it
i would ideally like to have a tandem master cyl for less iva hassle and i all ready have a sierra m/c and all the ballance bar stuff is a bit pricey
tbh
a book spec box would be fine and i need cable clutch type
the std one is of a floor mount type with a cutout for 25mm box at the bottom. i was about to buy one before john 3ge closed down and there was none
left
and as far as i know nowhere else is selling the plate kits and bushes to build one (already asked ssc).
orderd some bits from obp and thay sent a load of stuff that wasent what i orderd and didint have the right stock.
drew up some dxf files and sent them of to a laser cuttrs as thay are to fiddley to cut by hand and im still hassling for them to get back to me with
a price etc.
anyone have any ideas a way i can work around my problem like using a diffrent doner box, one that is for a diffrent kitcar or if anyone has a box
spare im starting to go mad
Try here for getting your parts cut - Andy is a top bloke , and I for one cant
fault his quality or service
Hi Baz. I feel your pain as I have just been through the exact experience.
I have just this Morning finished the pedal box for my three wheeler.
I have used a willwood Tandem M/C and brake pedal and fabricated my thottle and clutch pedals myself.
Regards Denis.
thanks
anyone have any idea what could be used as an alternative?
