I got a set of Toyo 350's for £150, very pleased with them

Ive been running Toyo T1R's and been quite surprised with how well they perform.

Camskill have the 195's for £36.40 each.

Sorry to high jack the thread but guess on topic.

Load rating,

Considering the weight of our cars and assuming a typical overall weight with driver around 750 Kg with under 200 Kg per corner what do people try to get the load rating around. Do you go for as light as you can say around 78 which is 425 Kg a bit higher 82 at 475 Kg per tyre or higher.

I am guessing that you have to consider extra weight/force for breaking and cornering but not sure what one would look for. Are lower rated tyres lighter, and have more compliance in the side wall? Is that what you want or stiffer side wall and possibly a bit more weight?

The available load ratings on high performance tyres always seem to be higher than we need for our lightweight cars.
Tends not to be an issue.
