What wheel bolts for Capri Laser wheels
tony.g - 19/11/11 at 10:56 PM

I have changed my rear axle and will need to use bolts instead of wheel nuts.
Any one else done this?
Where can i buy the apropriate bolts from?

Tony

Most Ford alloys from the Capri through to the Focus used the same nuts, 60° with a 60° washer and chrome caps, I have a biscuit tin full of them picked up from scrapyard floors.

get a stud conversion kit so you can still use nuts

That's what I'd do, I much prefer studs to bolts for holding wheels on.

I think that's the way I will go, but I don't like the thought of bolting into aluminium to hold wheels on.
I would rather use studs with a flange on the back side..
